Making video tutorials is definitely on my to-do list, but I've been busy with real-life lately. ^^; My apologies.

But feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'll do my best to answer. And if THAT doesn't work, maybe I should do a livestream where I make a feather or take apart/put back together one of my wings? Do you think that'd be useful?

I like broadcloth, just make sure it's thicker than muslin, and others have used felt with great success.

So upon following your tutorial, i think i have also come up with my own style. Since i am making dragon wings, and cause I work at toys r us, I wanted to make sure my wings were durable. I used broadcloth, along with interfacing. I used onesided thick interfacing, attached the broadcloth, then glued down the wire on the inside, then used double sided interfacing and attached it to both the first broadcloth, and then attached the second broadcloth layer. Im using Fray Check on the edges. So far its all working well. Im doing 6-7 wing pieces on each side. Ran out of one of my fabrics today. I cant wait to get all these attached and ready. I need to make the harness soon

Like your wrk. I've been trying to find a place to do a good set of wings...as Angels. Color White. (Of course)
Love what you did here. I'm a music director for a church/school. I'm always seeking different things to put in my large Christmas program in December. But, I can't ever find a set of wings as nice as yours. Is there a entire website you have? Or could you email me your instruction tutorial? just curious. Great wrk! Genius effort and time that went through the making of your wings. If I was you...I'd make a patent and sell it to theatre company's/churches. You'd make a killing in revenue I bet! Be blessed!

Thanks for the kind words, and I'm still working on my own site, so the instructions are all here on deviantArt in image form. If there are any questions about what to do please don't hesitate to ask, and if you do end up using my tutorial and making wings for a program, please take pictures/video and let me know! :la: I love to see what others have made using this method~
